halloween was great. we carved pumpkins, went to some parties and dress up as ninja turtles. since we were only dressing up for one party, and we are cheap, we made the outfits ourselves. shells and all. my kids are going to hate me.

for thanksgiving we invited over my 3 brothers and my sister in law heather, and had dinner at out house. last year we started a new tradition of going on a hike thanksgiving morning. this year we decided to hike squaw peak. the view from the top was awesome.

dinner was great too, thanks to everyone's help.

the thanksgiving break has been wonderful. seems we have gotten a little lazier and lazier everyday, but that is what vacations are for right? i think my favorite thing this weekend though, has been to get out first christmas tree. maybe i make a bigger deal about it than i should, but christmas trees are HUGE for me. if i could only have one christmasy thing, cookies, decor and all, i would want a tree. it just brings the christmas feeling. i can just sit and stare at christmas trees for hours. i love it.

saturday we went to the BYU vs Utah game. i mostly go to the games to be supportive, but it was a really great game. so close the whole time, and the end was great. i wish i had of gotten a picture of ben right as they won. a face of pure joy.
