i know its lame, but i was driving, so i didn't get any pictures of the birches and snow. i didn't dare to try to take pictures while driving due to the killer truck drivers that were whipping around the corners were trying to kill us.

better late than never
i have been wanting to go drive alpine loop for the past 3 weeks, but it never happened. weather, work schedule, homework, etc. on sunday we decided it was now or never, so we went. the trees had all mostly lost their leaves, a dissapointment i had already prepared myself for, but the snow remaining from saturday made me so excited for christmas! it wasn't the fall spectacular we had hoped for, but still so beautiful.
